The first of the three project meetings for an exchange of good practices between those involved in the protected natural areas, as envisaged under the scope of the fanALP project "Protection, optimisation and use of the protected areas of the Eastern Alpine area" took place on 28th/29th September 2009.

50 people, representing various categories of stakeholders from the Regional park of Dolomiti Friulane, the Regional Park of Prealpi Giulie and the region of Veneto met in Carinzia.

Our Corinzia colleagues offered us fantastic hospitality, showing us a few examples of good practices, such as the nature park school and Klosterruine of Arnoldstien, the Dobratsch park, the Bios Centre of Mallnitz and the Park of Alti Tauri.

The trip was greatly enjoyed by all participants, with an interesting, profitable constructive dialogue on the exchange of good practices that will doubtless be strengthened with future initiatives.
